Stay Away - will mischarge you - rude arrogant
If I could give a negative review of this place I would. I have been a resident for 2 years. Highpointe charges a high price but does not maintain the apartments. The management is rude and arrogant. If you have a maintenance request, do not hold your breath because it will not get repaired. They unethically mischarge for utilities. They mischarged me for an entire year for water/sewer. Instead of fixing the meter, they just capped off and charged what they wanted. They are currently mischarging everyone for water/sewer. When you ask why, they arrogantly tell you to call the billing company. The billing company says the bill what apartment reports. This is going on with many tenants. If you dont want to get stuck in a lease with rude, arrogant management that mischarges for utilities and never repairs anything, stay away.

This is not something that we manage. They do not receive the bills from us but we are happy to assist with the process to check for leaks and/or meter reading issues. Gone downhill horribly in last couple months
No toilet paper or paper towels in bathrooms at pools, Internet cafe has no coffee, pool bathrooms are disgusting, both pools have been dirty and green and/or all the time lately, maintenance doesn’t fix anything (they make it work for a little bit but problems return), office staff has become rude and doesn’t care about complaints or inconveniences of lack of advertised amenities, no playground. The website should be updated with actual amenities and pools condition. Hate we moved here now. Think before moving in. Just tour the place and you will see for yourself.

Great Place to Live
Highpointe is a very nice place to live. I lived there for 2 years and upon my initial move-in, in 2019, they had some office staff changes. These changes were for the best. Mario the manager, and Lisa at the front of the office are some remarkably easy people to work with. They will be sure that any issues you have are tended to promptly. The maintenance is also really prompt and thorough. Austin, as a more recent addition to the head of this property's maintenance team, will go above and beyond to see that your issues are promptly and accurately handled. Keith was another maintenance worker that I often saw who shared the same attributes. All of the maintenance team is very friendly and speaks to you as you pass by them. The pool amenities are nice but are often filled with the same group of tenants, so if you would like to have weekends at the poolside you would need to arrive quite early. The fitness center has nice equipment and there is a small playground for the kids to play at. The majority of the residents I have seen are upper 20-year-olds, young families, and some older adults. If I were to mention any complaints it would be that the USPS does not utilize the package lockers that other carriers use on the property. Instead, they place a slip into your mailbox and you have to physically present the slip at the post office. The garbage system could use an overhaul, as there are only two (albeit large) dumpsters. They fill rather quickly over the weekend so I just learned to take my garbage prior to the weekend or on Monday evening. Otherwise, if you are looking at a quiet, nice apartment with nice amenities, is close to grocery stores, a short drive to Flowood, and quick access to the interstate then this would be a strong place to consider.
