Family like atmosphere. Management very receptive. Maintenance on call 24/7 and very effective.

First, I’d like to say that my experience here has been great. The staff is very nice and easy to communicate with. The maintenance gets things done in a timely manner. If not the same day, the next day. It is very quiet and peaceful. This is a gated apartment building if that makes you feel more comfortable. Also, it’s in a very convenient location. Living here is very dormitory style. The apartments are very small but cozy and will do if it’s just you.
They have updated some things such as... the laundry facility, smoke detectors, and the flooring but I wish they’d update the refrigerators and stoves as they are very old. Surprisingly, I have not encountered any bug problems or mold or anything of the sort but I can only speak for me.
The only 2 downsides I’d say is that the building is old (BUT NOT NASTY) so if you want something more modern and spacious then this isn’t for you. Also, the rent is too high for the amenities you get. Not worth paying to live here unless you want a super convenient location or you’re just really needing a place ASAP. You can definitely get more for your buck at other apartments where the rent is less.
I’m just keeping it real but again, NOT A BAD place to live.

Ok I moved to Jackson last fall so had no clue where to look for an apartment and my new co workers at Albriton Jewelers told me about Sterling Towers since I enjoy being downtown for the big city lights as well as walking around.
My apartment is tiny at only 500sq ft and the building is super old and must date from the 1940's so I totally love the character! However, having said that, there are problems with the age in that there is an odd floor ac/heat thingee that keeps you cool only if you... are in front of it so you sleep rather hot in the bedroom and we have serious heat and humidity here! Having said that I LOVE THIS PLACE! It must be the character of the building and my little elderly lady landlord is adorable and greets me every morning when I pop out of the elevator and I find that very "homey"!! Bottom line....I hit the apartment jackpot!!
